I have just joined, as i have purchased a A3 1.8Tfsi S-Line. Cosmetically its in great shape, but mechanically i think it could use just a little TLC.
First up is a little bit of a oil leak to be located etc, but thats all not too bad, im used to that from my 1.8T Golf of the past..
Its had the PCV replaced recently, and it looks like it was rushed back together as there are various pipe not clipped down right etc, but.. this pipe from the intake to the cam cover sticks out like a sore thumb.. can someone advise what the function of this is? just a breather (thought the PCV stuff would handle this all alone) and why does it look like it doesn't belong here?
I have searched and searched for other 1.8TFSI images, and cant find any others with this layout...
