Was looking at a cheap old car as a second car. Slk 230.
Insurance was nuts. £1200 and Chriss Knott who i am with and always been happy with wanted crazy money.

In my 40's and clean licence but i have to question if that even matters?

Is it just me or is this the norm?

I've had a old bmw 5 series estate and a smart car in the last two years as a second policy and both came in at £300 and £440 with no NCB etc.

I'm baffled.

Unless you have a multi-car policy (Admiral comes to mind?) I believe it's common practice to only apply NCD to one car. :racer:

Yes Indeed but historically I've found it cheaper to insure cars with different insurers. Multi has never been cheaper for me.

You might find some insurers will mirror your Ncb

Please give us a quick call on 03303 331 250. We mirror NCB and love second cars.

Cheers,

Alex

Have you tried us for insurance yet? If you wanted to PM me I'd be happy to arrange a quotation for you.
