Chris, I think that your best option is to take it back to Audi where they installed the new cluster. Ask them to explain why this is happening.

Thats strange, you would expect at least an intermittent loss of power fault. Should the car even start with no power? if the immo is in the cluster surely an immo blocked engine start would occur. Did they mess around with the immo to fit the clocks or is the immo in a seperate module on this car?

I know of I start mine up straight away and don't wait for the lights to come on, my rev counter doesn't move similar to what your saying?

Hi

I also have same problem. I have audi a3 2001 1.9 tdi my instrument cluster not work properly. Half work half not. No lights, no temperature, no fuel, no acceleration, no speed meter only lights for battery, abs, esp, immobilizer etc.

I don't know what to do?

I want to buy another one (second hand) and I have VCDS with HAX+CAN but don't know how to coding?

Anyone to help me?
