Can anyone give me some advice on what's needed to install a hands free. Been having a read and there's a few threads about optic cables etc etc so not sure whether it's worth while.

On my previous cars it was just a matter of buying the right SOT lead however this looks possibly more complicated.
Thanks in advance

It's a lot more complicated, and it depends on your MMI version. However there are no most cable to modify on a parrot kit.

Mine is the bog standard version mate. No phone or sat nav. Basic isn't it called?

Oh are the leads different if my car is a S Line model?

s-line is just styling it's has nothing to do with the cars wiring.

Does the the Sline have Bose. Would this that affect the wiring at all?

not as standard on the sline, do you have a Bose amp on the left hand side of the boot?

Thanks mate. That's great. That lead seems the correct one. I take that it the harness picks up the power and sound from the amplifier.

Would I need an extension to the harness to enable me to fit it.

Thanks again
