I have a inspection notice on my a6. What are the inspection warnings? How much is the 60k maintenance?

Could be anything. Why not contact your Audi dealer and explain the above? Let us know what they come back with. What's the service regime on your car, if it's 60k sounds like it's on a fixed interval schedule?

If it's coming up on the dash, then it's most likely the scheduled inspection interval that German vehicles love to tell drivers about and depending on your service history...

May or may not be required at the moment, also, this interval in many cases for a number of vehicles can be manually overridden from the dash to set a new interval.

However, if you want to be sure and has already been suggested, it's best to double-check with the local stealer or a qualified interdependent specialist

Inspection

If the dash light is on for an inspection service then I'd be booking it in for one... I wouldn't just be ignoring it or reseting it.

My bro worked for Audi and said its a 2 year 19k inspection service and really another way of saying a "proper" service as you can get an oil change only service etc. Also "health checks as an upselling tool where they send you a wee video with a big price for repair.
In my humble opinion its a con and nothing more complicated than a service you would do better yourself if your mechanically competent by checking wheel nuts and suspension components and the like.
But an annual MOT does that anyway ( i would hope)
I do my own maintenance and dont trust most garages anyway as ive seen it all and had inside knowledge of the scams

My s3 is about to hit 60k and it’s telling me inspection soon. Sadly the closest Audi rep is over an hour away. I wonder what they will do and if it’s worth the drive

An inspection service will potentially include things like new spark plugs, new air filter, changing the fluid in the haldex coupling, if you have an DSG gearbox replacing that fluid as well. Best thing is to ask the dealer what is included at 60k. Remember also if the car is over 3 years old then Audi does fixed price servicing. Also if it is out of warranty then there are many specialists around who are probably cheaper than Audi. You have a high performance car and it is a false economy to not get it serviced as required. It will cost a lot more to fix something that has failed because it is not serviced than getting it serviced. Also a service history helps when it comes to selling it.

Thank you, I will be calling soon. It is out of warranty but like you said , better service it rather than fix something that breaks. It has a very good service record from previous owner and I plan to continue that
