Ok so I've being doing a lot of research into air intakes for the B8 2.0 tfsi and there's not a lot of options, mainly for 3 reasons:
1. All the intakes I found out the new intake / cone filter right where the air box is, so higher flow but no colder temps
2. They seem expensive something like carbonio is £450!
3. I know they aren't proven but there have been reports of fouled maf sensors due to the oil from performance filters.
So I started looking further afield and found that injen do a cold air intake that repositions the intake to the bottom of the engine bay behind the fog light valance, and uses a cleanable dry filter (no oil, just soap and water then air dry).
Having spoke to Injen they out me in touch with eightspeed.co.uk who have the product priced at £275 in vat & delivery.
However the are willing to do a group buy, so just wondering if anyone is interested?
It comes in either Polished Aluminium (SP3080P) or Black (SP3080BLK)
