Importing phone book in mmi via Bluetooth problems

Having terrible trouble trying to do this an after an hour I've given up.
Had all my numbers stored but over the last couple of years people have changed their numbers and the car phone book needed updating. I read up on it and the general consensus was too remove any devices and do a reset. So I've removed it and now I can't get import the contacts from the phone and it doesn't give any option too.
Can someone please help?

What phone are you using? Do you have sync contacts active under the bluetooth settings under the card device?

Mine doesn't upload any contacts to the car it just browses the phone via bluetooth including missed calls, last numbers dialed etc.

I have the 'high' connect package.

Cheers fella. I've just gone back out now and plugged the lead in and now the phone book has appeared with all the contacts in and I haven't touched anything else? I don't know if that was a coincidence but it's sorted now, thank you for the reply

Ok, no probs, mine is over bluetooth too and cable connection.

Has you car downloaded it are is it reading it directly off the phone?
