Hello, im new, im looking at buying a 2001 audi s3. its the 210bhp version.

firstly, what is the difference between the 210 and 225bhp?

and for when I get an s3 very soon, I want to get a turbo back, dump valve, induction kit along with a remap, would I see same power output as from a 225 engine?

The only difference between the 210 and 225 is a slight difference in engine software. They both re map to the same values.

Welcome to the site. As already stated they remap to the same figure and with the kind of setup you are describing i would guesstimate you would be around the 270bhp figure but you would need an FMIC for this.

From what I gather the pre facelift S3 is apy engine and is 210bhp and has some differences. The facelift have the amk 210bhp or bam 225bhp which will remap the same. Most of what I read says it's the same engine with different map on but more knowledgeable people can tell you more!
