HVAC, MMI Issues after Airbag Recall?

Hi all, I have an 06 Audi a6. It just sits and doesn't get driven much.

Anyway, I had the airbag recall done (Takata). When i drove it next, i noticed that the HVAC doesn't show up in the MMI. The controls from the HVAC unit still work etc, but when i press (SETUP) it only works from the control module and not the MMI.

Also the air temp sensor was reading incorrectly, one off though.

Is the Airbag recall related?

Any ideas?
