How to turn of the internal alarm?

Hi all,

Picked up my S4 avant today! love it!

Just wondering how you turn of the internal alarm system so the dog doesn't set of the alarm when it's locked?

I'm used to there been a little button to press.

Any help would be great!

On mine (A3) there is a button on the door when you open it, near settings for tyre pressure.

Mine has the little button on the driver door, on the lateral side the one that u can see only when the door is open

Or, I think, you can change a setting in the mmi that asks if you wish it to be set...

Thanks Guys! It is indeed the two presses of the lock button within two seconds.

No problem! Don’t find that particularly intuitive as double press previous cars I’ve owned has enabled the deadlocks, not reduced the security level...button would make more sense imo
