How to test Inlet manifold actuator??

As above, how would I test if I have a split diaphragm? Haven't got a mitzvah etc so is there an easy way or diy test?

Suck on the pipe, simple as that really

If I suck should there be resistance? Just as I seem to be able to keep sucking suggesting maybe the diaphragm is split?!

If you sick on the pipe there should be some pressure resistance and the actuator should move, if you suck on the pipe & it's like sucking on a straw your diaphragm is split.

That's good news then! Well kind of, least it's only a cheap part! May as well clean Egr and inlet manifold whilst at it!
