How to retrofit Q3 Climate Control Unit in pre-facelift A3 8P?

Is it possible to retrofit a Facelift or Q3 Climate Control Unit in a pre-facelift A3 8P?

1) Which parts are required to be replaced? I already got the facelift double-DIN center module, and I know that the Q3 Climate Panel need to be trimmed to fit.

2) Do I need to replace the complete Climate Box (eg 8P1 820 003 N, Q or R) to do the retrofit in a pre-facelift A3 8P (57-plate/2007) ?

3) Is this Retrofit possible without replacing the Comfort Control Module? I have an 8P0907279K installed.

I realize that it is an extensive job, but is it possible to do this Retrofit?
