How to reset service light on VCDS via UDS protocol? (Audi A6 2014)

I need help reseting my service light on my 2014 A6 via UDS protocol.

I've watched ENDLESS video guides and ENDLESS guides, both on rosstech and ilexia and other places but every method they say works - Doesn't for me.

My understanding is, you go to:
ESI: Resetting ESI, set to RESET
SIE: distance driven from inspection, set to 0 miles
FIX: Time since last time-dependent inspection, set to 0 days
FIX: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection, set to 0 miles
SIE: time from inspection, set to 0 days

The problem I have is this, the instructions above aren't accurate:

ESI: RESETTING ESI when I go into it, It only gives the value "ENGLISH" and I can only change it to another language, or the same language. It DOES NOT give me the option to RESET it.

I have been out to the car 3 times now fiddling with it, but I. JUST. CANNOT. RESET. IT. And its beginning to cheese me off now. I've never experienced such a simple job being such a headache.

Can anyone please, kindly help me out before I lose all my hair?

I will upload all the options I have available in VCDS v17 shortly.

If your cable is genuine it might be worth updating as we are using version 18.9 now

He reported in another forum that he solved the problem using another diagnostic tool.
