Cannot fathom how to change the clock in standard MMI - anybody help?

From memory (in the office at the moment) - >Menu; >Time and check GPS for auto time or uncheck to set manually and set using the knob in the time field.

If using GPS check that the Time Zone and Summer time setting are correct :)

Is this what you were looking for?

I can't remember for sure but I found it pretty easily. I set mine to gps and then all you have do is switch when the clocks change.
I remember there is a thread on here talking about the summertime correction. The MMI sort of suggests it's automatic (like PCs are) but that's not the case. You use that switch to manually add or take off the hour

Can you? I've not seen that in the VCDS discussions so far. Will have to look that up. Crazy that it isn't an option. It's 2015 for God's sake!

Just in the normal MMI menu, or elsewhere? Do Europe have the same DST switching dates as the UK?

Don't think Europe is available via the MMI so via VCDS as far as I am aware. Might be different in MY15 cars tho. Have set mine but waiting on the next DST date to test.

All European countries share the same DST, but the time of the change over varies based on local time off-set.

Just a note: U.S. cars
change over automatically to and from
daylight savings time.

Maybe we should follow the example of Dear Leader (or whatever title has been bestowed) and create our own time zone!

They are definitely in their own world in more ways than one!

Woke up late today. I guess I'll
make up my own time zone!

Countries change their timezones all the time... it's not that unusual or weird! They are certainly in a world of their own, but not because of this...
