Hey guys,

Thinking about selling up and wanted to know what you guys think is reasonable for it - it'll probably be going on here + a few other websites but wanted to gauge the right price first. Note, this is NOT an advert!

Here are the specs of the car:
  • 2 owners from new (i'm the second owner)
  • Registered in 2007
  • Fully documented almost full dealer service history, I took it to a bespoke german service specialist once because I wanted a change of opinion - a service there is the same price as a dealer http://www.germanautocare.co.uk/.
  • This includes cam belt + water pump change at Audi
  • 114k miles, majority of these have been motorway - I do a lot of driving for my job
  • 6 Speed, Quattro, 2.0TDI 170bhp
  • Metallic Grey (monsoon?)
  • Factory S-Line specification, bodykit, sport seats, multi functional steering wheel (MFSW)
  • Panoramic Sunroof (Great for summer and makes the interior feel roomier)
  • Sat nav + bluetooth + iPod connectivity (I have a bluetooth module, which I will include that allows you to stream wirelessly from phone)
  • Bi-Xenon Headlights (Lights move round the corner, it’s amazing how quickly you get used to it, but miss it when driving another vehicle)
  • Full Black Vienna Leather, with no imperfections
  • Heated front and REAR sets, front with electric lumbar support
  • Electric + heated + folding mirrors
  • Auto-dimming rear and wing mirrors and rain sensor pack
  • Bose sound system
  • Homelink (garage door opener)
  • Privacy glass
  • Twin, aluminium trim exhaust (factory extra)
  • Luggage pack
  • Dual Zone climate control
  • Trip computer
  • Brushed aluminium interior trim (makes a huge difference)
  • Front and rear carpet mats
  • Electric Windows
  • Gloss black spoiler (factory extra, combined with the sunroof, it looks great)
  • Leather Armrest (unbelievably, this is a £300 extra)
  • Interior Light package
  • Debadged
  • And all the standard + anything that I've forgotten
I took out a warranty cover and as soon as I bought the vehicle, so at the slightest murmur of an issue, I would take it into a garage to get the part replaced (as they substitute 50% of the cost). So the big things that it’s had done is a new turbo , clutch, flywheel, rebuilt gearbox. By doing this, I hoped that I could change the potentially failing part before it would then put strain on any other parts. All of this was done within the past 25k.

I was thinking anywhere in the region of £6,500 - 7,995?

Would love any feedback / thoughts!

6000-6500 max buddy unless you want to wait forever to for someone whois happy to pay more also did you have injectors replaced? Thats what most important and most will likely to ask.

I think they were replaced before I bought the vehicle. Will that make a big difference to the price?

Aim high - you're going to get knocked back on price by the right buyer who wants the spec anyway.Look on Autotrader to see what others are being advertised at.

Can't see if you've mentioned how many doors - so don't forget that in your ad.

Find out the exact colour - some buyers are looking for a specific colour.

Look on Autotrader to get an idea of how rare or popular your car is. Lots of A3's out there but, I imagine few quattro with your spec.

Good luck with the sale.

£2.50 and a pack of half eaten hob nobs.

does that mean half a pack of hobnobs left... OR is every biscuit present but with a few bites out of every single one??

seller may be fairly fussy, just sayin

Just to clarify; each hobnob has been half eaten then the 2 halves have been put together to make it into 1 again.

An update: Audi cheshire oaks offered me 5k and german autocare have offered me 5750. If they're happy to buy in at that price, they must know they can sell it on for a couple of extra grand which makes me think my 7-8k original selling price isn't that high.

true but dealers are always overpriced...

Got any pictures?

it sounds like a lovely spec mate! a quattro with heated leathers, adaptive xenons and pan roof with folding mirrors?? seriously beautiful. for its current standing though at 114k and its a pre-facelift its not going to get you £8k unfortunately... purely because the pre-facelifts are not valued that much. i know it may sound a bit daft but if you facelifted that car you will get more money for it.
I think £7k is about right for the spec... you just need to put it up and be really patient as you will always get chancers offering you stupid prices.
you could always just part exchange it for a newer car and see if they will pay you a decent price for yours then?

Thanks mate - when you say facelift? What's the difference? I thought it was the facelift model, it doesn't look like the 8L by any standards.

There is a facelift within the 8P range...
