Full factory S-Line kit
19'' New style RS4 alloys with Avon tyres all round
Half leather
113,000 miles full Audi service history apart from last service done last week by a local specialist
New Disks and pads all round last week (miltek)

Really good condition has a slight scrape to the underside sill on drivers side can hardly tell, has a few stone chips to the front but nothing serious only due to motor way miles

I was thinking someing along the lines of putting the car up for £6700 and taking offers around £6300

Ideally id like as much as possible but would take less for easy sale what do people think?????????

I know you may not want to sell your car on there, but browsing the ebay completed items is a very good way of gauging what the current market is willing to pay for a particular model.

Cheers mate didn't think of this.

I will have a look through see what they have sold for.

Thanks again

I would do the same with Auto Trader online too to get an idea of what other people are asking for equivalent cars.

I prefer the ebay route, becuase what people are ASKING doesn't reflect what the market is actually willing to pay for a car...

Ok you could argue that cars on ebay sell for a bit less, but it still gives you a ball park. If theres a ton of cars on autotrader for 8 grand, and on ebay none sell for over 6, its unlikely that those folk trying to get 8 grand for it in autotrader is actually going to sell it, unless they accept an offer much lower than the cars advertised for.

Been looking through ebay and it's hard to find a car with the same spec as mine and the ones that are on seem to be dealers asking £7500 - 8k for them but not selling.

They was a 53 plate 115 sport that sold for £6700 but didn't have the same seats so i'm not to sure what mine is worth so please any help guys

Also id prefer to sell in autotrader rather than ebay but is ebay easyer to get rid of them?

well i'd imagine that around 6700 is your starting point for a basis on price.

If yours has better seats then maybe a smidge more, but if dealers cant shift them at 7500...

I've sold a few cars on ebay, and i found that unlike autotrader, it was a lot easier. I listed it, waited a week, and someone came, paid up and drove off. Ok you might lose out a little bit in financial terms, but at the end of the day, if its between £6700 next week, and a month of viewings for it to finally sell for 7k, imo the £6700 is the better option...

The last car i sold on there was a fiesta, which we sold and used the proceeds to buy the A4. They were listed in the local paper for 1500-1700 at the time, the missus wanted me to put a 1300 reserve on it, and it sold for just over the reserve. Thinking that anyone who went to look at a car avertised at £1500 would liekly try to bump it down a bit, i figured the £1300 was a decent price for it.
