2,300 miles in 14 months. Surprised the service light hasn't come on yet.

I know it's a weekend car but my low mileage to date does reflect I guess the S3's inability to make we want to go for a B road "blast" when the mood takes me. :(

14500 miles in 14 months.
My S3 is my daily commute car and just had my first oil service.
It has lost some coolant and was down to min level, but was checked, topped up and no leak etc found when serviced.
Topped up oil at around 10000 miles.
Car can still put a smile on my face when giving some beans in manual mode with the paddles, but most of the time I'm just In the commute traffic dong 50-60....but getting good mpg lol

Just shy of 19,000 miles, one oil service, no other top ups.

5,000... all of them fun filled... some scary... some mildly on the wrong side of the law...

18K done since new in January 2014. Have had a few warrenty issues since pickup, main one being a replacement HPFP at around 14K!

3.6k since Mar 15, its been pretty much flawless in honesty...so far at least. It went back once at the beginning for a replacement LED on the drivers door.

it gets driven fairly hard most of the time (when its not sitting in traffic in London) and its used 300ml of oil - I keep it topped up to max all the time.

8000 miles since July 2014. One oil change service. Only warranty problem has been rattling rear arm rest.

14k miles since October 2014. One warranty issue was a new S-tronic box after a failure of the original, no issues with the service dept. who were first class at Tyneside. Does what I wanted it to do and more and I find myself going for a drive just for the sake of it. It has some small issues with handling etc. but nothing that can't be taken into account and worked around. No such thing as the perfect anything, so I expect some small gripes etc. Still waiting on first service and will need 4 new tyres soon.
Will be going for an RS3 once the initial order rush and excitement dies down.

Collected March 1st - 5600miles

Creaky driver seat = FIXED
Engine Rattle = ONGOING

Absolutely love the car and enjoy every mile!!!!

3300 miles since I picked her up in December (7 months). Love it, love it, love it.

Only real issue was 200 miles in when the emissions light came on. Had the manifold changed so guessing it was a dodgy sensor. Got the seat belt creak sometimes which I will get sorted next time I'm at the dealers.

Oh yeah I have always had the engine "rattle" which is kind of annoying

March 15th 2015 3500 miles no mechanical problems but some really annoying interior rattles, the B&O drowns them out just now until l get the chance to get it into the dealership.

3500 miles 7 months old.

Engine rattle
Headlight motor replaced
Air con valve change
Squeaky passenger cockpit
Unclipped passenger dash (coming off)
Door rattle

Love the car but these issues have spoilt it a tad.

Still in dealer getting air con repaired.

Just unlucky I suppose.

I have emailed Audi for compensation but prob not get anything!

37k miles since December 2013... Had a couple of small issues. Faulty temp sensor replaced, couple of drops in coolant, and also a random one-off oil sensor fault which corrected itself...

Picked up March 6th 2015 and I've covered 1900 miles.

Absolutely love every minute of driving this car but I really love the S-Tronic I'm so glad I opted for it now.

Faults so far:

Engine rattle - ONGOING
Start/Stop fault - Some Sensor replaced
Had to have rear window replaced with proper privacy glass as it was clear although I paid for privacy - £50 Compensation from Audi UK and a Audi goodie bag
Headlights have been adjusted 3 times by Audi Dundee
Squeak from rear - Turned out to be high level brake light
Drivers seat belt started squeaking - Still to be fixed

But apart from all that I still love it and would buy another one

Late 2014 and almost 7k miles. Had to top an entire bottle of oil few days ago! -.-

My annoyance list:

- On cold in reverse it makes a very very very loud noise, similar to my cold water tank (ball valve - plastic stop not working) - to describe it best, well imagine a ship coming into port and sounding the horn? Stops when I press the brakes completely though.
- 2/10 times the door mirrors squeak when unfolding (not mechanical noise - SQUEAKS!)
- Lights waaaaaaaay to low, on 8P I could manually adjust but oh no not this time!
- Compartment under seat has a big gap and too deep, I bought new shades because I thought I lost my current ones but they were deep in storage!!

When it goes in for a service I know they won't fix any of these issues, at least my indy specialist would spend time to fix any issues, and yes I know there is no fix for the last one!

May end up using an indy and just get a detailed quote, confirmation of official audi products used etc...dreading Audi servicing, terrible.

Just turned 4, 600 miles.
10 months old.

This morning on the DIS it read. "Oil change in 400 miles"
(with a picture of a wrench above it)

Collected on the 11th March and have done more miles since then than I did in the 12 months prior with my old car!

As of today: 4709 miles with an average speed of 28mph, giving a return of 34.3mpg....can't moan at that for a car with 300bhp :) Most of my driving is in and around town.

I thought it was going to be expensive to service, however I'm happy to see this:

IMG 2419

Collected 20th April - done 4500miles, not used any oil and had no issues at all :)

9k in 11 months
check oil level every 1k
Had to put in 400mls of oil in between 2 and 3k
Had a problem with reversing light but it turned out to just be a loose connection.

22,400 in 18 months not a single problem at all still feels like new although its picked up a couple of stone chips so doesn't quite look like new!

Probably ordering an RS3 soon.

391 miles in 10 days. Considering I usually average around 6k a year that's pretty epic mileage for me and testament to the fact that I simply can't stop driving it ;) :racer:

Hi Mate,

Wondering if I could ask a q since you have the saloon and have the Mag ride as standard. I've just ordered an S3 HB without mag ride as can't really afford it. Do you use it much? Is it worth it?

That's a tough one mate because as you rightly say it's standard on the UK saloons.

Pretty much every review I checked before ordering said it was one of the standout features and I've gotta say I agree. Put it this way it would be right at the top of my options list if it wasn't standard ;)

Didn't know that LOL, even the manual ones eg with no pull back for sport mode?!

198m in ours over 2.5wks!

5500 miles, 10 months old.

Maintenance wise, topped up the washer bottle & added about 500mls oil.
