Hey guys, does anyone know how many Audi A3 8L were built? I could'nt find any source providing such information.

time ago i was asking my self is the S3 is gonna be a classic in the future...wasnt able to answer.
I know the 190 2.5 16V will be, the E30 m3 will be and for sure my 300E 3.4 AMG W124 will

The 190 and E30 are already classics I reckon.

The E30 M3 has been regarded as a classic for sometime, they prices they go for reflects this.

I believe there are only 3 left in existence that have only ever had 1 owner, one of those belonging to the main guy at Alpina.

As much as I love and am loyal to Audi, the E30 M3 would be my car of choice if I had the budget (although not so keen on LHD) lol

can't help u with the number of made/sold ones. but i found something more interesting..
you can still buy a sort of new one!!!!! (unused/unmolested/without a single mile on the clock) in some undeveloped countries(but they're probably LHD) ''acording to wikipedia''

What's the E36 like compared to the S3? Two very different cars, but I presume you prefer the S3 as you have one...

The off topics far more interesting lol. To compare the s3 to the e36 m3 would only be fair if he has had the 3.2 evolution m3 as that was the best one of the e36 shape i think but il say no more as he hasnt replied yet lol.

My e36 was an evo, and is not comparable to an s3 in any way, different animals....
I know the m3,s would have not budged in the snow.....even a light scattering kept them at home totally useless...
