How long will it take to charge a completely dead battery in my S3?

As subject, battery is completely dead coz I left the interior light on. Just started charging it with a 8.5A RMS charger. Is there a simple formula someone knows for how long it will take (can't remember of the top of my head what the battery capacity is)?

Couple of hours max, less if you just want to get enough into it for it to work, the car will do the rest.

thanks... I always remember it being an overnight job years ago, probably with older trickle chargers.

Don't need the car tomorrow, but as I can't leave it on charge overnight where it is now just needed to know whether it would need more charging before I do need it.

Charge it enough to get the car started or even jump it, then just take it for a run and it will be fine.
