How long till collection

The dealer told me Tues that my car has arrived, but I can't collect until next Thursday.. Seems a while to wait to me. How long is the norm?

Haha oh I hope not!! I had to go and sign some paperwork this morn and I can collect Weds morn, excited!!

S3 sportback in crystal panther black.. I was happy with the A3 however the other half wanted something 'a bit' quicker!!
