How hard is it to fit a new front passenger door?

I bet its the alignment that is the hardest part?

easy should align stright away

its easy enuff mate. just a few bolts. used a trolly jack to take the weight of the door,

As above trolley jack and piece of wood the lining up will be the same as we're the paint marks will be from the old hinge

Cheers guys, had a run in with a polish lorry the weekend or should I say he hit me and although the damage is not that bad I need two new trims on the door and a smallish dent/crease taking out, am thinking it may be easier and cheaper to replace the door as there is one on eBay going for not much and it's black!

I'm guessing all B6 front doors are the same apart from cabs or is this not true?

B6 and B7 front doors are the same, Cabs are not,

B7 doors fit but the panel has a slightly different mould to it.

B7 doors are not the same, yes they will fit and shut but the lines won't match at all

Cheers guys the doors from a 03 plate A4 B6, on a separate note are all wing mirrors interchangeable from B6 and B7? people on ebay seem to say that they are the same?
