How do you remove Turbo Units from 4.0T?

Hi All,

For those of you who have upgraded/replaced their 4.0T turbos, how do you remove the turbos from the manifolds?

I have some newly acquired RS7 units, complete with manifolds/snails, that Im struggling to remove the turbo units from. I've already released the hot side clamps

Is it just brute force and a mallet, or am I missing something
