For an A3 with DIS, how do you cancel/acknowledge the 'low fuel' warning shown in the top part of the DIS (the amber coloured fuel pump image)? Tried pressing (and holding) the RESET button on the windscreen wiper stalk, but this just reset the computer readings.

Why didn't I think of that? Surely there is some way to acknowledge the warning, and have the top segment of the DIS display return to showing the radio station name?

It's an interesting question. Sometimes i can't be bothered to fill up if i've only got a 12 mile trip to work, and i'll fill up on the way home. So it would be nice to cancel the warning say until the ignition is turned off. That way you can use the top part of your DIS, but not forget when you get back in the car.
Yeah but then you'd forget to fill it up on way back, lmfao, trust me if the warning isnt there you wouldnt think about it or maybe its just my alzheimers.
