I fitted new suspension to my car a while ago and its dropped it a wee bit. I wasn't actually thinking it would drop it so far but now I'm looking at putting a set of 18s on it and was wondering whats the best and easiest way to raise the car as I don't want the wheels rubbing? I fitted Koni Str T with H&R springs. Is it just a case of buying slightly longer springs and if so how much longer?

47 views and nobody knows? Come on folks. I've never lowered a car before never mind raised one. If I put on heavier springs I imagine the ride will be harsher. I don't want that. Is longer the way to go whilst retaining the same spring load? Has anyone done this?

There seems to be different length H & R springs, you haven't stated which ones you have fitted.I found three kits...

15mm lower...https://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-brand/h-r/h-r-sport-springs-s3-8l/

25mm lower...https://prodigymotorsport.co.uk/hr-...MIkKDA27HS1wIVLrftCh0zUAUfEAQYBSABEgJ2tvD_BwE

and 40mm lower...https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Prod...VLrftCh0zUAUfEAQYBCABEgKf6fD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Depending on which ones you have, you could go a 'step up' for instance from 40mm-25mm or 25mm-15mm.

Failing that,I guess you could just put new oem springs back on.

Thanks for answering. Raise the arches away from the wheels. I'm pretty sure I bought the 25mm kit.

standard 17" avus alloys. Cant remember the size as I'm away from home.
