Hi, sorry to hijack this thread but I think it's more relevant to ask here than open yet another thread on PM/DM.
How "many" are "good posts"? I'd like to DM someone but can't seem to do so.

Not sure if it's just me but I also can't send private messages, I've tried the envelope top-right. Any help would be appreciated

As a new member you can’t use pm or classifieds section. You need to have more posts on the forum before these are enabled

Maybe you could tag the person in a relevant topic and ask in that thread, it'll help you bump your post count or tag them and ask to PM you.
Post a hello/introduction and pics or Qs in relevant threads to get your post count up

I wonder if the guy that I PMd can't actually respond coz he's a new member too

Tag like so: @membername eg. @Oli250
