how do i know if my car has been mapped?

may sound stupid, but how can i tell if my car has been mapped?
when i bought the vehicle the guy says i has been & there is paper work for a re map, but it is from his own company and just says "remap-diesel-and my reg" looks very generic and knocked up.

my car is a 2006 A4 B7 avant 2.0 tdi 140, with a full custom exhaust fitted.

any help would be much appreciated

was hoping there is another way without having to go do a power run,
if all fails ill go down that route

Do a 0-60, measure the time and compare it to the official figures?

Ideally RR.

If the rolling road shows it hasn't get it mapped

Best way is to connect diagnostic equipment and check the data for injector control.
