Hood rattles

Hi

Picked up my 2003 convertible last week. Fantastic car however the hood creaks and rattles where it attaches at the front IE all along the top of the screen but more on the left. This happens when driving open bumps or braking etc. Does it need lubricating or something ?

There a whole host of rods and levers to lock the front of the roof into the locks on top of the screen. Mine doesnt make any noise at all, very occasionally very small rattle but it stops of I knock it. I think its the sun visor on mine.

It should be virtually silent, with the roof up you can tell its a convertible really.

Problem is I can't make it happen whilst stationary as it all feels nice and solid. Maybe I'll remove the trim that the visors attach to and see what I can see.

I personally think its more likely something in the bit on the roof not the bit the visors fix to.
