Homemade Black Edition

Hi all,

Decided to make my own Black Edition as Audi don't offer it until later in the model cycle.

Looks like it will be a big job to remove the grill to access the smaller horizontal chrome pieces, so that will wait for now.

So far using vinyl, I have "blacked out" the grill surround and the pieces in the traditional fog light / fake air vent area.
Think it looks better but not great without the horizontal peaces.

Next on the list is Plasti Dip the chrome window surrounds.

Looks good! Plasti dip doesn't last long though!

Ive also gone the DIY route for the Black Optics pack on my S7, as its not an option in the UK.

Before pic (mirror cap removed ready for wrapping)

@scottoliver252 Which vinyl did you use for this? The chrome on my B8 A4 is busting my chops and I want rid!
