hi all. Been having a love hate relationship with my a4 avant for 18 months now and have been dipping in and out of the forum for help. Most have been well documented, thanks!

Anyway, I've had the dreaded blb oil pump failure along with a few other issues. Replaced the block and head with a bkd unit and transferred over all the auxiliary parts. Although some bits had to be replaced; turbo, tandem pump ect.

I've had some teething problems with the transplant. Hoping I've sorted the last of them. Temped to cut my losses while it's running great, what else can go wrong!

Hope you get your B7 sorted....sounds like a good idea to cut your losses and source a newer B8 or B9 if you can afford it.
