I'm looking for recommendations for a service in my area other than the main audi dealership? Also who do you recommend for engine upgrade/remapping? Thanks.

MRC in Banbury. That may be 100 miles away but they are worth the trip. They can also do your service.
Hi, I'm not far from you, just outside Swineshead. I have a B7 2.0tdi though, not an S.
Who have you been using for your services up until now? I do all my own servicing (except cam belt), and most of my repairs also. Anything I can't do I take to Mike Raw in Lincoln.
(now called Advanced Automotive). I've been using them for 25 years on all of the 4 marques that I've owned. They used to specialise in VAG, but now do all makes.
I believe there are specialist Audi/VW garages in Horncastle and Louth too.
I had my car re-mapped back in February by RemapUK in Newark (I believe they have franchises around the UK) and can't recommend Peter enough, very helpful guy.

Have you heard of remapkings? Are they any good, they come to your door. Pieyedpiper I have only just bought the car, as I have had company cars for the 8 years. I am into my hotrods really but I have always been a fan of the s4/rs4 can't believe I didn't buy a v8 but I read that these tfsi v6 are as good
As anything.
I had a V8 S5 and I loved the noise, the problem for me was in the tuning potential of the engine or rather lack of it! So when I was looking for an S4 it had to be a forced induction one.
No sorry, I've never heard of them.
Yup the sound of a V8 is great, but if you intend the tune, a turbo/supercharger is the way to go.
