Hi everyone, well I'm back, been a while as my Audi a3 1.8t 8l was written off and left me Injured and heartbroken as I did so much work on it, but I bought a Subaru impreza wagon and spend loads modding her and having fun but alas it wasnt a Audi here she is below

She was running 337bhp with same torque, running launch control and anti lag But a few weeks ago she was sold and I bought a great Audi a3 2.0 tdi sport from a great guy called JD. He had done some great mods like hid lights, Mercedes alloys and slammed on FK coilovers, and given her a facelift look here are pics below ;

So after money changing hands, and getting this great car home, I hit my first snag the car was way way way to low and living in se London there are loads of nasty speed bumps and I was smacking each one hard, even driving slow !! So first I tried to adjust coilovers but sadly the where seized so after much thinking and review reading ordered a set of great AP Coilovers from dpm performance for a bargain £430 delivered

So they got fitted and adjusted to a nice ride height and had top mounts and bushes replaced, now she clears bumps with no issues and ride is fantastic !! Next was alloys, as great as the Mercedes alloys looked they just wasn't to my taste so they where sold and a set of original Audi speedline alloys were fitted 18" and new wheel bolts and locking wheel nuts and she looked like this

Right so now looks where sorted time for some nice engine mods, firstly got a great mate called Darren from comrades of vag group to sort me out a great service kit

So service done and car running great and fresh, then treated the car to a full Milltek turbo back system as they got great reviews and got the guys at EMP Performance @ St Albans to fit it

So once fitted car sounded and pulled great so even more happy, a great decent mod, then I fitted a alpine dvd flip screen headunit and cerwin vega 12" sub with a Rockford fosgate amp, so now car pumps some solid bass and rocks and I love it, next bought a EGR delete kit from allgard Motorsport

This will be fitted tomorrow and car is booked in on the 5th at RTech so niki can work his magic and will think of the next mod and keep everyone updated Hope you guys and girls like what I have done so far and Look forward to seeing everyone at meets so if u see me come say hello Bobby

Haha yeah ill learn that this is my first Audi and I can already tell ill be having a light wallet!

Its a standard 5w30 engine, not sure 5w40 thicker is going to help in anyway except cheaper oil maybe.

Height is allot better, although wheels don't suit IMHO, need to see pics of milltek when on the floor as its hard to see how its fitted atm.

Any reason why you're using 5w40 instead of 5w30

The reason I ask is I've just bought an A3 too and had assumed it would be 5w30?

Yeah that's me adamski I'm back lol, hi sayam I got the full kit for a oil service from a good friend called Darren who helps run the comrades of vag group, he sells all bits and got this great kit for me, I asked him best oil to use and he sorted it all out for me, he did recommend this oil and I just used it and been great so far and good quality stuff lol
