Great to add another member to the Kent list! Hope to see you around at some point! :)

Currently in Canterbury but looking to move up to London later on in the year. You've got a rather good spec on your car! ...... Just need the Recaro buckets to finish it off! ;)

So not kent for to much longer. you'll miss the empty roads when you move to London! lol. Cheers ! that is the only thing im missing. wouldn't mind the the Recaro seats out of the new s3 they look lovely! not to sure what ill do to the car yet though deflectors turn up tomorrow and thats it so far!

Ha yea even though Canterbury traffic isn't that much worse! lol You thought about a re-map and exhaust?

That's very true didn't think about that ha , will get a re map eventually as I know someone who works for Porsche racing and can do it - haven't really though about exhaust - I do like the twin exhaust but you can you suggest a good upgrade?

I've heard good reviews about APR. They do a stage 1 & 2 I think and catback exhaust?

Ill have a look into both - might wait till my warrant expires (end of year) till I do remap but will look into exhausts sooner

Nice car mate, I'm from rainham (which reminds me Sandra can you add me to the meet list please) your S3 is the same as mine but there's so much you can do.

Puddle lights
Warning lights
Footwell lights
LED door handles
Upgrade interior LED all round
Upgrade to map lights console
Cigarette delete mod
RS3 grille (I have an OEM aluminium one for sale if interested)

Exactly. The only good thing with wet sanding is it's permanent... So although costs a small fortune there are very little cars out there that will look as good (once cleaned obviously, even when it's dirty it looks clean due to the reflection angles). 11 days of hard grafting and back aches! Well worth it though!

Something well worth looking into - aim for me eventually is to get the car re-sprayed and then protected.....one day

That's where the issue is... The respray quality! Even after a brand new respray it still needs wet sanding as the paint ripples which is due to many factors. You'd be surprised how wet sanding can bring out your original paintwork to the best it's ever been.

Edit: your close to me, if your ever local then pop round and see for yourself

Thing is I do a lot of motorway driving so stone chips are un-avoidable! so will need respray eventually otherwise I wont be completely satisfied so maybe re-spray - wet sanding then protected! and a lot of money later! lol

I quite agree. I had my front and rear recently resprayed and is getting wet sanded on Tuesday to match the rest of the car. Although the respray was brilliant anyway. Surprising how much better it looks with a fresh respray to get rid of the stone chips, I too use it everyday
