Can anyone help me with this please?
I recently purchased an 04 plate sline quattro. Its a lovely car but the garage where i purchased it from (120miles away) upgraded a lot of the lighting to LEDs. As far as im aware the front side/parking lights, rear number plate lights and all the interior lighting has been done. I must say i do like the brighter lighting, but there comes a problem with it.
the onboard computer "bing bongs" more than the avon lady at the door telling me i have a bulb failure. Currently the most common are number plate and parking/ side light. When checked they are working fine.
now ive read a bit about canbus, but dont really understand it. Im guessing its something to do with the type of LEDs fitted?
Can someone in the know enlighten me if this is the likely cause, and additionally if it is the bulbs recommend a suitable replacement that wont keep bringing up " bulb failure" on the dash as its getting annoying.
thanks
