As per title, I removed the passenger seat no problem at all however the new subframe looks completely wrong and I don't think it's right for the seat either.

The car is a 98 A3 AGU 1.8t, the seat mounting is 2no. screws at the front in the middle and after removing the rear plastic covers to the runners the seat lifts out. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to fit the new frame.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me what the problem is please? Never done this before and thought it'd be easy

I also had a look at the existing frame on the seat but god knows how that comes off

    Thanks in advance.

The a3 is the same chassis as the mk4 golf, so your seat bases are wrong mate as you say they are for the mk3

Thought as much, it's just that the advert said A3 too. I'll get one when funds allow, cheers for the help.
