Help with fault codes

Hoping someone can help me out with this please. Points to note, the battery has drained recently to a point that the central locking wouldn't work, I think this is because the power magic pro hasn't been shutting the dash cam power off. The battery only drains to the point the car will not start when it has not been used for 48-72 hours. I am fairly sure the drain is the dash cam as I disconnected the cam over the weekend and the car started fine on Monday. Other than that a couple of fuses were removed whilst the ignition was off to piggy back off of them, this was for blowers and cigar lighter.

I just checked the dipstick and it is up to the maximum level.

The sensor light turned on this morning when I left the gym and nothing new had been done so it may be that the sensor has failed and it's a coincidence that I have been experimenting with the dash cam recently. Do all of the error codes point to the same sensor? I was concerned about the Auto HVAC faults.

I cleared all DTCs but when turning the ignition on it came back. If I can get to the sensor I might unplug it, use electrical cleaner and then make sure it's a tight fit before trying to clear the code again.

does your aircon work ?
one code points to the 00819 - High Pressure Sensor (G65)
00819 - High Pressure Sensor (G65): Open or Short to Ground

Possible Causes
## Wiring/Connectors from/to High Pressure Sensor (G65) faulty
## High Pressure Sensor (G65) faulty

Possible Solutions
## Check Wiring/Connectors from/to High Pressure Sensor (G65)
## Check High Pressure Sensor (G65)

00819 - High Pressure Sensor (G65): Signal too Low

Possible Symptoms
## Climate Control stuck in ECON Mode

Possible Causes
## Insufficient Refrigerant Pressure
## Wiring/Connectors from/to High Pressure Sensor (G65) faulty
## High Pressure Sensor (G65) faulty

Possible Solutions
## Check Refrigerant Pressure ## Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)

## Check Wiring/Connectors from/to High Pressure Sensor (G65)
## Check High Pressure Sensor (G65)

Funnily enough I tried to use the air con today and it was playing up, the button wouldn't light up, eventually it did when the fans were turned down but I will test it properly tomorrow. Could this be caused by the battery draining completely? Cheers

The AC button usually lights up when pressed so I know the air con is on. Pressing it did nothing but I was driving so not concentrating on the button, will try it today.

Ok so I did a bit more testing today and when the blowers are on already and I press the AC button the red light turns on whilst the button is pressed but turns off once released. When the blowers are off and I press the AC button the blowers turn on and the red light stays lit for a few seconds then turns off.

So atm I have an oil sensor message (in orange) permanently on my DIS and no air con. VCDs full scans then DTC resets do nothing to remedy either of these errors. Seems strange to me that both would fail at the same time, does anyone have any ideas what has happened and the best way forward?

id say get a new oil sensor fitted

and have the aircon gas checked.

for the aircon it with be either low on gas or need a new sensor.

Ok sorted it, bit of stupidity on my part. I have installed dash cams and a power magic pro which have been causing me a lot of grief (the PMP never powers down the camera which leads to a dead battery if I don't use the car for a few days). Last week I bought some fuse piggy back adapters to use with the PMP to ensure a good connection, this still didn't help so I think the PMP is faulty.

The two fuses I piggy backed off were blowers/air con and cigar lighter. As a final test I disconnected the PMP and piggy adapters and the air con started to work, so I cleared all DTCs and ran a VCDs scan and now the oil sensor fault has gone. Not sure how piggy backing off the fuses caused this but glad to see it isn't a real fault.
