help turbo died

i was driving normaly up the road there was a rattle exactly like loose heatshield would go away between 1500 and 2000 revs then at 2000 revs then the turbo stopped working no noise then or smoke or lumpyness everything ok other than no boost any help would be good many thanks

just read another thread and could it be the penny valve in the turbo if so does any body have a turbo for sale many thanks
