I have a 2005 2.0TDi S-Line saloon. I have has the car 5 years and love it !!!
It seems I have a wiring issue to the boot and wondered if anyone else had had this. For some time (last 5 months) we have noticed that as you open the boot the interior in the boot dims out. I have not had time to look at due to us having a new baby so been living with it.
Today I moved the wiring that is clipped to the boot hinge and the light came on and then went off, I did this several times and it went on and off, I suspect it has a issue issue in this wiring. However after bending it seems nothing works now
It looks like no power is going to the boot as the number plate lights don't work, central locking to the boot does not work and the fogs in the boot don't work.
I will send it to a a garage tomorrow if I can get it booked in but has anyone had this issue, is a new loom or anything needed and if so any idea part numbers prices...
