Help! please

Just a quick question, my dad has a b5 P reg a4 and all the pipes are dead hot but the heater in the car is not hot do you think its the heater element thats gone?

I was under the impression that this could be the thermostat, does the temp gauge do anything odd?

the temp aguge is fine and its had a new thermostat in already as well, its very strange

take the two heater hoses off and back flush the matrix to see if its clear...

maybe a blockage before the heater matrix or possibly some of the vent system inside the car stopping the hot air getting through, not sure what happens past the heater matrix...sorry
