hi, would appreciate anyone’s expertise, my vcds was working fine, kept saying it was an old version, so silly me decides to update it and now it won’t work full stop, can’t connect to a port, tried device manager, and can’t see the option on my notebook, tried on laptop and keeps saying it can’t update contact manufacturer or something along those lines, even downloaded lite and still no luck would be much appreciated any help.. thanks

I’m unsure it was second hand, the cable says HEX+CAN Dual-k & can usb interface for vcds Rev.B
Then rosstech website on back says VAG11.11

The computer came with vcds installed.

If its fake then it wont update, it will break if you try.

Genuine cables do not have a VCDS software version printed on them, only the type of cable and maybe the supplier. Your cable is fake / cloned.
