Help on new A3 please!

Hi,

I am looking into buying an Audi A3 1.6 Sport, seen a few at various mileage and various prices. Looking to spend between 6k-6.5k.

Just wondering if anyone could fill me in what sorta mileage and price I should be looking at for this price. Im looking into one which is 2003 63,000M for £5,595, however has had a new clutch n gear box. this a common fault or a no go area.

TBH mate if you mean an 1.6 fsi, then unless its for insurance purposes then I wouldnt personally, no disrespect to others, but its not the best engine, why not consider a 2.0tdi fella as some good deals to be had for these.

I'd agree with NHN on this one, the 1.6 is pretty slow but without the economy of a diesel engine. It's a lose/lose.
