HELP NOISE

WHEN i STAR MY CAR FOR A BRIEF SECOND THERE IS A SCREETCHING NOISE WHAT IS THIS AND WOULD IT BE THE PROBLEM I HAVE WITH STALLING WHEN STOPPING, SLOWING DOWN AT JUCTIONS.

Alternator/fan belt slipping would explain the screeching but i am not sure about stalling at junctions, could do with some more info like what car you have?

maybe if it slips it bounces on idle n causes a stall
