Help me decide which car to buy.

Hello guys,

I live in Colombia so we don't get all the good stuff EU gets and also car prices are really high. I currently own an MK3 Golf GL 1,8 non turbo; I'm not planning on selling it but I'd rather want the Audi to be my second car and have both. The Audi will mostly be used as 2nd car, mostly on weekends but surely will give it rides often.

So my options are these, cheapest available engine is the 1,6, I am not sure whether it is the fsi or the mpi engine. Followed by the 1.8T, a little pricier but nothing crazy, is the S3 really much worth it than the A3? Should I save up for the S3?
Also I wan't it with a Manual gearbox.

Don't bother with the 1.6 or 1.8 non turbo if it's a 2nd car get the 1.8t Quattro and get it remapped or the s3 if you can afford it would be my choice

i'd go for the s3, prices of the s3 will keep steady in the next year's. 1.8t a3 will never keep its value. Beside the price, an S3 feels a lot different then an a3, its much more fun

I've driven the 1,6 entry golf we get here (before 1,4tsi) and it feels nice but not fulfilling enough for an Audi, is it the same engine? Unfortunately we didn't get the A3 1,8t Quattro; and I'm not sure if we got updated S3's with the added 15 hp, will have to check on that too. Here are two options of the classified ads offered on my area, I think the latest model has the 225hp.
