Help, loss of Acceleration and Power but no warning lights

Hi,

Suddenly on the drive to work today I was accelerating on the dual carriageway to about 3.5k rpm in 4th gear and all of a sudden you could feel the power just go out the car...thought i had blown the turbo?

Now the car has no acceleration what so ever, can't get it past 2k rpm in higher gears.

Funny thing is there are no warning lights on the dash to say it was in limp mode. I don't think it is the turbo as you can still sort of hear it sucking in air.

I've had a search around and wondered if this was the DPF - diesel particulate filter - that is blocked?

Not sure if my car has one?

Look up boost leaks and sticky vanes mate, could be the car going into limp mode

Would say limp mode mate, get the car scanned as it can be anything from a boost leak, dodgy sensor or new turbo needed.
