My only excuse is that it was 6.30am on a Sunday, but I have locked my keys in the boot of a A4 Convertible. Maybe luckily the back window is open, so I could open the front door. But I dont think that will get me anywhere apart from uphappy neighbours from the alarm. I have not got a spare.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Simon

AA broke me into a car a few years ago in under 20 seconds, if your desperate phone breakdown?

If you can get into the car can you then fish through the ski hatch?

Happened to me once in a BMW coupe while I was in France. Easiest way was to determine where the boot key hole has a rod that pulls the latch. We drilled a 3-4cm hole behind the number plate and then used long nosed pliers to pull the rod that released the boot lid.
Then stuck a rubber grommet in the hole and put the plate back on. No one would have known it was there. And good for the next time I would do it.

Imagine Audi is similar but the key hole is in a different place. Good luck!

When I did this they pumped airbags on the side of the boot to lift it, then stuck a thin rod in and pressed the unlock button on the fob
