Help ! Engine wont start after fitting cruise control

Hi,

Just fitted cruise control and all went well apart from i accidentally shorted the battery out whilst doing something....stupid and regrettable but now the engine wont start.

Here are the fault codes from the engine module, sharware so might not be much use but someone might have had the same problem.

Have you checked all the fuses, including the ones on the battery?

sorted now, 80 pole section of the ecu plug wasnt seated properly. Cleared codes and hey presto. she lives!

Now to see if cc works !

Also a worthy investment in the proper vagcom might help you out with these issues & further work/diag you may be doing from now on.
