Hi everyone,

Had the car serviced at a garage at the weekend and when we picked it up the electric windows and convertible roof buttons were not working. They said it was likely to be a fuse so we took it to a car shop last night to get one and they checked the fuses out and said it is not that. Have also realised that the central locking is not working either. Ringing the garage today to complain and get them to sort it but wondered if anyone had any idea what it could be as it is not the fuses and if it could have been from the service?

Suggestions welcomed!

Thanks.

will get my partner to ask when he pops in there in a min - would they usually do that in a service and if they have what is the likely solution?

you really need it scanning for fault codes
the windows and locks run off the CCM under the pass seat
but the roof has its own unit behing the drivers side rear door panel
i cant see how they messed it up with only doing a service.

ok, my brother has a diagnostic machine so will get him to put that in and see what comes up.

any ideas what it would be taking the fact it just had a service out of the equation? why would they usually all go like that at the same time?

i have no idea without looking
