Hey guys, as title states, my 8p doesn't fully reach the optimal temperature for the engine to run and I'm not too sure why. After a bit of research i hear it is the coolant temperature sensor that may need replacing? But i found out also there is a temperature sender too?

I got a 1.6 special edition 3door 8p 2004 model. Can you guys help me to what part would need replacing/where that part is?

Thanks guys :) Plus I'm a newbie, and here it is!

Sensor is more likely to go down than the sender, however is there any other things that happen on start up e.g. erratic idle? Audi are quite notorious for the dash panel to fault in the back causing only certain resistance to reach needle :)

@Mitchy2102 Nah theres nothing wrong with it driving and idle wise. Drives smooth just like any audi should. Hmm thats true, you reckon it is just the needle in the dash panel?
