    Hi,

I'm Sven from Belgium (but nativly speaking Dutch :uk:)

Aged 34 and drive an A6 3.0TDi Quattro from 2006
    Eibach lowering Kit 4-5 cm's (2.5" I guess)
    280HP and 570Nm (stock 211/450)
Lenso Conquista 20" with 255/30/20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires

I'm also on the audiforum.nl but it's quite over there. So I came here because it's snowing outside and I had a week off, soooo watching youtube movies about drifting quattro's :p

    Et voila, I'm in!

Guess I'll be showing off my car already, right? :jump:

And what a nice list of emoticons hehehe

Wellcome, 280bhp! Nice. I had an A5 diesel 240 bhp and I thought that was quick, I'm lucky you didn't pull up next to me at the wanting a race haha. I had a few problems trying to post some pics but it looks as if you managed it in the end, nice car.

Yes, it's the very rare and sought after "sport" model. It looks different now as i have taken my shopping off the back.

Just checked out the concept A9 and can see why you like it, one cool looking car, it may even have more torque than your car, 6.3 W12 engine or a new V8. It's going to be out of my price range though for sure, maybe a second hand one in 20 years or so? I know what your saying when you mention the torque of your car, I loved the shove of in gear power from the diesel A5 I had. The car was only a year old when I sold it but had to go as was spending to much time away and not using it. Have now got an old honda Jazz for when I'm back in the UK but it's so bad that I have now ordered an S1 and come back to pick it up at the end of next month. Should have just kept the A5, Doh!

Yes the A9 looks nice indeed :) but I like the RS6 because all my previos cars were "break" versions (do they say that in English??? I mean a loooooong car ;) like Avant for Audi)

    Torque is awesome :)
When my GF and I go on holiday we take a big trailer for the Yamaha Grizzly with us. The car full with a 30Kg tent, a 20Kg fridge, a table, chairs, loooot's of clothes for the misses and all the rest.... --> I mean, lot's of weight in total.
Yet, when there's a hill it's funny to see smaller EMPTY cars "struggle" to get on top of the hill and me driving like.... whoooom overtake every car. With the trailer it must hurt those others eyes ehehehe.

But your S1 has got to be fun as well! 231HP, quattro and a "lightweigt" car... 0-100km/h (0-60mph) in 5 sec's can be done ;) IIRC

:D:D:disgust::nyah::blow::bull head::undwech:In England we call them "estate" cars another name for them is a "shooting brake" although not used much but shorten that to "brake" and now I understand it. We should have just one World language it would make life a lot easier, always envious of you guys from Holland being so good at speaking different languages, english, german etc etc. Us English are the opposite unfortunately .
Sounds as if your next vehicle should be a Scania haha but at least you have a brake car and use it for what it was designed for. Don't think I have ever seen a new RS6 on the road, a few older ones yes, don't think they sell many of them would love to have a drive in one though, so many cars, so little time.
You see the photo on my post tag, I took it in thailand, the guys suspension collapsed I don't think he overtakes many people going up a hill but he knows how to load a car, you can't see in the pic but the other side of his pick up he wedged a big piece of wood against the side to stop it falling over, very funny sight. I have seen the pick again since then and he still loads it up the same.
Looking forward to getting the S1 and have a france trip planned in June have to keep an eye open for the French police though as I have heard they take away your car if they catch you going too fast, don't want to lose it so soon. Went into the Audi dealers for a test drive in it, did not plan to buy one but I was so impressed with it I had to have one, great little car but don't know where I'm going to put my 20kg fridge? Haha:D

Right! I've heard from Estate cars, and you call "normal" cars Saloon's I guess? Anyway ;)

Don't want to start a war here, but Holland people are not as good in languages as you might think :D --> when we Belgians hear Holland people speaking on holiday, it's always looooot's of fun for us :)

They struggle, have a funny accent and try to do their best, but.... nah :p

We, the superior Dutch speaking people (just kidding), on the other hand, we manage our languages much better  (and I mean speaking... grammar is another thing ;) at least for me, heck I can't even write Dutch without errors :p)

I myself speak, Dutch (duh), Enlish, French and German and some words Turkisch and Chinese (that's what happens when you grab some take away food now and then hehehe)

My GF speaks a bit of Spanish on top of that.

We also go EVERY year to France and we just love to translate all those language's... Funny thing is Frensh <--> English... For you (and them) it seems sooo difficult understanding eachother... but like 50% of your languages a even written the same, just pronounced different :) --> ofcourse with a few beers, the translating stuff works much smoother :D

Hmmm did not knew that from French ploice :) but when on holiday, I'm not speeding ;) it's no stress there :p

You might not be able to load a big fridge in your S1, but you can try to attach one on your roof like your avatar :p --> or attach a trailer ;)

Just looked at my last message and didn't know I out all those smiley faces on at the start of it???
You see, I was right about you Dutch people being good at languages, it would have been quicker if you told me the ones you Did not speak, Turkish and Chinese? Yes you been in too many take away food shops haha.
I spend a lot of time in Thailand and although I know a few sentences etc when I try to speak it they don't know what I'm saying as its all dependant on what tone you say the word in, I'm useless at it and I've been married to a Thai ( woman not ladyboy ) for ten years.
Best to have a beer or two and then just wave your hands around, it always works.
French police impound your car if they catch you doing 160kph or more, under that it's a BIG fine. If you want to drive fast in France it's best to have a lot of euros on you, only if you get caught of course. I've driven there a fair bit over the years and never been stopped but friends of mine have and say never go over 160kph, you do get your car back but it takes all day and lots of paperwork and a BIG fine. :angrymod: I'm in Thailand at the moment and over here I have a ford ranger it's a four door pick up truck it's very good but I can't drive it because it gives me backache if I'm in it for more than 15mins :keule:so now the wife uses it and I have a mazda BT50 it's another pick up, I made sure that I had a long test drive in it though to check the seats haha. Why two pick ups I hear you say? We have a shop and need to load up with stock etc and it's mainly what people drive over here. If you want a car that's not made in Thailand they put more than 100% tax on it, you don't see many decent cars over here, even a basic 3 series bMW would cost £50,000+++ don't know what that is in euros but it's a lot!

Yeah smileys... I'm not a fanboy recalling to chatting (messenger and stuff) but I do like them so you can give the sentence more expression (or how do they say it, more feeling)

Take away and when I was in school, lot's of foreigners ;) --> but thx to those friends you learn some words, ofcourse the dirty ones first :whistle2:

A buddy of me has an Indonesian GF, getting married this April I guess. Jakarta she lives. I believe she's female as well --> I'm not the one who has to examine that! :highly amused:

Pick-ups... I used to like those as well for driving (when I was younger-er :p) but now I still like them, but it's impossible to park in some towns over here... Cause I like the Dodge RAM style :D

£50k is like 67k5 for a 3 series beamer :wtf:
