Heated steering wheel question

Morning all,
I picked up a replacement steering wheel for my 2011A6 avant last week. It was part of a reupholstery project I'm considering.
As luck would have it, the wheel turned out to be a heated wheel when it arrived from the breaker...pretty lucky for €50 I think
So what would I need to do to get this heated wheel working? I've searched around and can't find anything concrete for the A6....
(Note: it's the one that has the button on the bottom left spoke of the wheel)

Any help appreciated.

..just to possibly preempt a question, I'm replacing a 4 spoke wheel with 4 spoke, so it's like-for-like so no airbag related woes etc....
