Heated leathers

Hi guys, quick question.

The s3 recaros, are the heated elements glued onto the seat foam, or are they glued to the leathers? Has anyone ever taken the covers off to see where the elements attach?

Thinking of a re trim at some point..

I should imagine they'd be in the foam, I've just developed some standard leather furniture for dfs with heated seats and backs and the element had to have a layer between it and the leather recommended from the supplier.

The manual in the stickies shows how to replace the heaters, I believe.

I disassemble my seats S3 because of the same problem. The heating is attached to the foam, but come off easily.Where has blown heater was obvious clearly, and I just reconnected again using clamp cables.
